Belon is a high-end fine-dining restaurant. Need to be booked in one month in advance.

The restaurant is located in Banyan Tree Hotel on the 31 floor.

It has a lovely view over Galaxy Hotel from one side and a river city view from another side.

Atmosphere and Decor

Belon is a FORBES recommended restaurant 2017. The sign with the award is on the wall near the entrance. The name of the restaurant means an oyster. Belon oysters come from Belon river in France.

Belon's opulent decor is very impressive - floor-to-ceiling windows, large crystal chandeliers, stunning bubble walls.

The ambience is terrific.

We had a nice table for two overlooking the city. By the way the other side of the river is already another country - China.

Menu

All dishes are of a very high quality and the way they served is not ordinary. A perfect place to spend a Sunday morning with a glass of champagne and sophisticated food.

Look at this creative presentation of cream cheese smoked salmon roll.

There is a Japanese corner for sushi and sashimi lovers.

Belon has a good choice of cheese selection - Gorgonzola, Cheddar, Edam, Camembert, Brie.

One of highlights among starters is a caviar station with 5 types of caviar.

Seafood Station is pretty extensive. There are three types of oysters, mussels, scallops, prawns, Boston lobster claws, snow crab legs.

Belon has a good choice of mains :

- Western delights (German pork knuckle, potato gratin, burgers, mini pizzas, meat and seafood skewers)

- Pasta corner

- Chinese dumplings (Shrimp, beef dumplings, deep fried spring rolls)

- Grilled seafood and meat (Lamb chop, Boston lobster)

- Carving station (Roasted chicken, New Zealand lamb, Australian Rib Eye, Foie Gras)

In the middle of the brunch there is an exclusive Chef's parade - seafood risotto.

Desserts station at Belon is a real paradise for sweet lovers - home-made ice-cream, macaroons, puddings, mousses, tarts, cupcakes, tiramisu, signature brownies and fresh fruit.

As a complimentary gift for our anniversary Belon gave us a special cake.
